Designs I created while working for Qualtrics LLC. as an XM Community Designer & Manager. The XM Community is an online, self-service community where 35,000 Qualtrics customers can give and receive help with Qualtrics products, track feature releases, attend events, earn rewards, network, and more.

The What
& Why
I rebuilt the XM Community in March 2023, when we migrated to a new platform vendor, Gainsight. The migration presented the unique opportunity to update our branding to establish congruency with Qualtrics' recent brand updates. Using Adobe Indesign, I created an XM Community brand style guide, enabling cross-channel consistency.  I leveraged CSS and HTML to customize buttons, using the new Qualtrics gradient and capitalized InputSans text. Then, I created custom HTML and CSS to add the new Qualtrics gradient to our site footer.  I also designed a homepage banner in Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop, incorporating movement and Qualtrics’ new pink into the homepage experience.  To brand the community discussion categories and homepage buttons, I created custom icons in Illustrator. Lastly, I made promotional assets, category banners, email banners, and more in Adobe Photoshop.  Below, please find the style guide, banners, promotional assets, and iconography.

XM Community Groups 
Program
The What
& Why
Groups are private, digital spaces on the XM Community for members in similar industries or with shared interests to connect, collaborate, and network. The community offers four Industry Groups (K-12, Higher Education, Government, Financial Services) and three Interest Groups (Brand Administrators, Jobs & Careers, Korea EX) for community members to join.
I designed the Groups' branding to create unique spaces that have a consistent design and brand. As such, each group is designed primarily with one of Qualtrics’ brand colors. Together, the groups create the Qualtrics branded gradient, as demonstrated in the “Community Post Asset.” Additionally, I used illustrated people in the designs as they are a cornerstone in Qualtrics’ brand and humanize the digital. Assets for each Group include a web banner, a thumbnail, and banners for community posts.

XM Community Badge of
the Month Program
The What
& Why
The Badge of the Month is an XM Community engagement program in the form of monthly discussion posts. Each month, community members have the opportunity to reply to a discussion prompt to earn a profile badge, (a digital reward), and 50 points. To learn more about points, please review the Rank & Rewards Program section on the UX/UI page. The program rewards and facilitates conversations between customers and our representatives, ultimately fostering relationships. To brand the program, I design a new banner and badge for each post using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

The XM Communi-tea Podcast is scheduled to be added to Apple Podcasts in 2024. To brand the XM Community Apple Podcasts channel, I created all of the content required, including a channel logo, a channel cover, a subscription channel cover, and more in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. The channel is designed to feel like an extension of our community brand.
